Milford Knights Basketball***
The Milford Knights Basketball Program develops and teaches the fundamentals of the game in a competitive environment, while preparing the players for the next level.
Eligibility
Who is eligible to particpate ?
Any Milford boy or girl, 4th-8th grade is eligible. All players must attend try outs and be selected to join a team.
When
What time of the year does this program run?
The season begins with tryouts in September and runs thru the CT Hoopfest Tournament in March.
Where
Where are practices and games typically held?
Practices are held various gyms thru out Milford. Since this is Travel Basketball, games will be played in Milford, as well as other facilities thru out CT.
Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Teams generally practice 2 times per week, usually on weeknights.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Depending on the Coach/Division, teams could play 25 to as many as 55 games over the course of the season. Games are usually played on weekends as weekdays as reserved for practices.
Uniforms
Are uniforms provided or are they purchased separately?
A Uniform package which includes reversible jersey and shorts, shooting shirt and pinnie are provided as part of registration.
